Metal giants Rob Zombie and Korn have been sharing the stage with In This Moment as they travel throughout the United States this summer. The “Return Of The Dreads” tour is nearing the end of its run, but not before stopping at the Xfinity Center outside Boston, MA.
It’s not uncommon for a venue to see smaller crowds for the first band on the bill as people slowly filter in for the evening’s festivities. But that was not that case for this show. Starting the evening off with powerhouse In This Moment brought fans in quickly and ready to rock for the evening. In This Moment does not disappoint with their performances and this time was no exception. They combined newly crafted theatrical elements with their iconic ones, bringing the audience something new with each song.
With much anticipation from the crowd, Rob Zombie took the stage and delivered a phenomenal set. Performing a mash of new and classic songs, fans had a reason to be up and out of their seats. After a visit from a giant devil on stilts, the teaser trailer for Rob Zombie’s new movie that is coming out later this year was also showcased.
Korn took the stage to close out the evening, coming out one member at a time until vocalist Jonathan Davis took the stage and grabbed the full attention of the crowd with his mesmerizing voice. Included on the set list was their recently released single Rotting in Vain – which proved to already be recognized by many in the audience. With the new album scheduled to be released on October 21, this first single is an indication that it is not an album to miss.
